At Golden Experiences & Travel, we’ve eliminated approximately 80% of single-use plastics across our catamarans and eco-lodge by replacing plastic bottles with reusable flasks and installing refill stations, preventing an estimated 69,000 bottles annually from entering the ecosystem.

All guest amenities are biodegradable, and our snacks now come in glass jars rather than plastic wrappers. Waste sorting stations for plastic, glass, paper, and metal are available at all sites, and guests receive education on responsible waste practices as part of their journey.

Our goal is to reach 90% elimination by 2027, with the remaining plastics to be replaced by fully biodegradable or reusable alternatives. This initiative has also inspired suppliers and partners to adopt bulk and sustainable packaging solutions.
