MANDI WASI
Amazon Rainforest
The Mandi Wasi Project is a women-led initiative born in the heart of the Amazon, designed to empower local women from the Kichwa community of El Pilche by creating meaningful economic opportunities while preserving cultural heritage.
This project is a cornerstone of our broader commitment to sustainability.

Through Mandi Wasi, women have gained access to skills training and income-generating roles such as craft production, sustainable cooking, and guest-hosting.
Using materials found in their natural surroundings, the women create handicrafts that reflect the traditions and identity of the Amazon.
Visitors are welcomed to the community to experience their daily life, traditional cuisine, and ancestral customs, offering an immersive cultural exchange that benefits both guests and hosts.
By leading these experiences, the women not only support their families financially but also challenge traditional gender roles and build pride in their cultural knowledge.
Mandi Wasi is more than a project; it’s a powerful movement of female leadership, cultural preservation, and sustainable development from within the community itself.
