The GSTC is a global membership organization, formed to manage global standards for sustainable travel and tourism, the GSTC Criteria, and to foster increased knowledge and understanding of sustainable tourism practices through the adoption of universal sustainable tourism principles.
With 300+ member organizations from around the world, the efforts of the GSTC are more critical than ever – hundreds of fragile destinations and countless endangered plant and animal species, including many found in the Galapagos archipelago and Amazon rainforest, are under threat from a myriad of environmental and social issues, and we strongly believe that our actions today will make a tangible difference for future generations.
