Connections is our living commitment to linking communities, travelers, and ecosystems through education, sustainability, and opportunity.

This program brings together a series of initiatives designed not only to support the destinations we operate in but also to connect people—locally and globally—in meaningful, transformative ways.

In partnership with SpaceX Starlink, we’ve brought high-speed satellite internet to three rural schools, two in the Galápagos Islands and one in the Amazon Rainforest, reaching over 300 students who previously had little or no digital access.

Now, these young learners can explore global academic resources, attend remote classes, and connect with a broader world of knowledge from the heart of their communities.

That same spirit of connection drives our support for Ecuadorian youth participating in key global forums.

Through the Connections program, we sponsor representatives from the Galapagos to join UNICEF’s Climate Academy and have made it possible for a young negotiator to attend the upcoming UN Climate Conference (COP). These efforts ensure that voices from our regions contribute to shaping environmental policy on the world stage.

Back home, we continue building bridges between conservation and education.

In collaboration with the San Cristóbal local government, we’ve launched classroom sessions focused on sustainable tourism, waste management, community safety, and mental health, offering tools for a more conscious and resilient future in the Galapagos.

Connections also brings science to the surface with our “Science by the Sea” initiative.

Through the expertise of marine biologists, guests and residents engage in projects that protect marine ecosystems, improve water quality, and foster environmental awareness. From genetics and bioinformatics to environmental communication, these experts help us understand, protect, and share the richness of the sea.

At its heart, Connections is about creating access, whether it’s through technology, education, dialogue, or nature itself.
